From Thailand, デンドロビウム (Jonas)

タイといえばこの蘭が一番有名ですね。

デンドロビウムは、1200種以上も含まれる蘭の属名で、その名はギリシャのデンドロン（樹木）とビオス（生命）に由来し、「樹木に住みつくもの」の意味で、木にからみつくように育つ植物の種類です。



現代では、たくさんの蘭の品種改良が続けられており、違う種類や色のものがあり、花の造形や美しい香りを楽しむことができます。



Dendrobium is a huge genus of orchids and contains about 1,200 species. The name is from the Greek dendron ("tree") and bios ("life"); it means "one who lives on trees", or, essentially, "epiphyte".



Today we continue our orchid trip with dendrobium, this big genus have a lot of different species and colors so we just enjoy the beauty of this flowers and nice fragrance.
